The Los Angeles Convention Center enjoyed a brief encounter with the principles of good, modern design this weekend at Dwell on Design’s 5th annual conference. Besides the floor exhibits, conference-goers enjoyed panel discussions, tours of Westside and Eastside architectural marvels in Los Angeles, and workshops. Ango’s Five Stone lamp (shade made out of rattan) and Chrysalis sky piece, out of silk cocoon. Chief designer Angus Hutcheson is based in Thailand.
