DLP founder and designer Doron Lachisch has a knack for plastics. Born into a family run business eager to take advantage of the advancements in flexible polymers, the process, the machines and the capabilities of the material became a second nature to Lachisch.  After completing his economics degree from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Lachisch took his business savvy along with his extensive knowledge of plastics and founded DLP (Doron Lachisch Plastics LTP) in 1979. With modular and modern pieces such as his Cubitec shelving system, Lachisch has transformed the perception of plastic to something of sophistication, wining DLP 1^st prize for contemporary design at the 2000 Tel Aviv International Furniture Fair.  Designs by DLP can be purchased at Module-R or by contacting agents Ford&Ching.
